Volunteer thank-you card

Thank your volunteers with messages from everyone they helped.

Volunteers give their evenings and weekends, and the thanks they hear is usually one quick word at the end of a shift. Share one link and let organisers, members and the people they helped say it properly.

Why groups use one

Thanks that reach every volunteer, not just the regulars.

Volunteers come and go across shifts, sites and seasons. A link finds them all.

  • Thank one person or the whole crew

Make a page for a long-serving volunteer, or one for everyone who helped this year.

  • Let the people they helped speak

Members, families and partners can add a message or photo without an account.

  • Something to show for it

Volunteers can read every message again, and the page makes a warm thing to share at your annual meeting.

Volunteer thank-you message examples

What to write to a volunteer.

Say what their time made possible. A specific moment means more than a general thank you.

  • Three years of Saturday mornings, and you never missed a delivery. Forty families ate well every week because of you.

    From the coordinator

  • You remembered my son’s name and his allergy every single week. Thank you for making it feel like a neighbour helping, not a charity.

    From a family you helped

  • You showed me how to run the till on my first day and made me laugh through the cold ones. See you at the next shift.

    From a fellow volunteer

Set up a volunteer thank-you card in a few minutes.

  1. Step 1

    Create the page

Add your group’s name or the volunteer’s name, a photo and Volunteer appreciation as the occasion. It is free.

  2. Step 2

    Add a question

Turn on a prompt such as who you would like to thank and why, so people have an easy place to start.

  3. Step 3

    Share one link

Send it to members, families and partners by email, WhatsApp or newsletter. No account needed.

  4. Step 4

    Look after it

Review posts before they appear, and keep the page unlisted or private with a PIN if you prefer.
